I was born in Nevada City some forty years ago to Don and Sonja Nettles and raised in Grass Valley. As a second generation native growing up in Grass Valley, I spent a lot of time in my grandfather’s store located on East Main Street. My home was located behind the shop in the historic area of Grass Valley called Hills Flat.

As a self-employed equipment operator for many years, I am familiar with the county and have an extensive background and knowledge of the many roles of land development, renovation, remodeling and exceptional customer service -- with a reputation to back it all up!

I am the proud father of four and feel so blessed to raise our children in the Grass Valley area of Nevada County. As a real estate investor along with my wife SchanDelle, who is a local Mortgage Broker, together we have purchased and developed a number of properties, including land, single and multi-family units.
