I grew up in the Mid-west and moved to California in 1976 (Bay Area, Peninsula). In 1986 I moved to South Florida where I lived near Palm Beach before moving back to California in 1996. I lived in the East Bay until moving to Nevada County in 1998. I have two sons and a daughter and two grandsons. My daughter and grandsons live in Nevada County and my sons live in the East Bay.

I spent approximately 30 years in the Telecommunications industry in various positions including technician, customer service management, and senior sales and executive management positions. I worked with companies such as Nortel, Siemens, United Technologies and Hughes Electronics.

In later years, I obtained my USCG Captain’s License.

I ran large private yachts throughout the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico and Central and South America. I have owned & operated small businesses in the past, in a yachting related field and in the computer/telecommunications industry. As a result of my background in corporate customer service positions and my business ownership, I understand the value of providing outstanding service to my clients. I enjoy outdoor activities such as camping, dirt bike riding, and running the Forest Service roads in my 4X4. I am an avid outdoorsman and fisherman and have caught about every kind of ocean fish there is -- from a 60-pound Dolphin (Mahi-mahi or Dorado), to a 700-pound Blue Marlin. I play golf when I get the chance. It is a joy living in the beautiful Sierra foothills and near Nevada City.
