Lani has lived in Nevada County since 1977. She was the owner of a successful drycleaning business in downtown Grass Valley for 23 years. Being service orientated with an attention to detail, this experience has led to a reputation of building customer trust and the ability to expedite a property's productive sale. She has purchased and sold a number of homes in Nevada and Placer County including properties that consisted of fixer-uppers and also constructing a new house on acreage. She has experienced implementing wells, septic systems, cutting in new roads and bringing in utilities.

Born and raised in California, Lani comes from a family of remodeling experts. Her father was a carpenter, plumber and electrician and her mother a decorator. The family owned many homes and buying and selling real estate was always a way of life.
Being a nature lover and enjoying the outdoors, Lani was attracted to Nevada County because of its natural beauty. There are lakes and rivers to kayak on, trails to hike during spring and summer, and cross-country skiing in the winter. Lani has been involved in the local chapter of the Audubon Society which has satisfied her desire to identify birds, and has studied the native medical plants of the area which has led her to obtain a Master Herbalist degree.
